advance to ensure the safe operation of the pipeline. In addition, oil and gas
pipelines are likely to encounter man-made damage. The destruction mainly goes
through the process of digging, stripping pipeline protection layer, drilling,
etc., which is inevitably accompanied by vibration, impact and other physical
characteristics. Earth movements caused by earthquakes, floods, landslides, etc.
are also reflected in pipeline vibrations. Monitoring of the natural environment
in the vicinity of the pipeline can also provide assistance in determining the
condition of the pipeline.
